We joined forces with home design and textiles queen Erika Powell (after a years-long obsession with her via Instagram!) to bring you a new collection of rugs that has hospitality writtenallll over it. Each style features her signature Bayou-inspired color palette that’s equal parts eye-catching and easy to envision in any home - and something we could never have brought to life ourselves.
Most importantly, the collection feels more inviting than ever, because that’s exactly what the process of working with Erika has been like. We hope you enjoy this little slice of rug heaven for your home - and all the fun that’s sure to take place on it for years to come.
P.S. Since Erika, Mckinsey and Lissa love mixing prints, we have to share that this style pairs especially well with Erika’s very own pillows: Arrowhead or Arrowhead Relief in burlap, moss, sage or bone.

Our most asked questions (by far!) always have to do with how to take care of our rugs. Here’s the TLDR…
For routine maintenance, we recommend vacuuming as needed with your beater brush turned OFF. For more involved incidents (think: spaghetti spills, pet pitfalls or toddler run-ins), try spot cleaning with boiling water and a clear mild dish soap - dab, never rub!
And remember! All of our oushak-inspired rugs are hand-knotted with wool threads on a cotton backing for extra durability. <3
